our vision
As a part of the body of Christ we believe that God has called us to reach the world with the Gospel of Christ, sharing His love.

Our vision is to see the lives of homeowners, teens and adults changed by sharing our love for Jesus with others. We are not only working on improving and changing the homes throughout the week, we are working on our own lives to make them look more like Christ.

our Mission
We are here to help youth and adults get their hands dirty while living out their faith doing work on the exterior of homes for those that cannot do it for themselves.

We want to serve the communities of Ohio by sharing the love of Christ with the homeowners as we use the skills that God has given us to work on their homes.

About us
We have modeled Ohio Changers after youth missions endeavor, World Changers and Kentucky Changers. Students, chaperones, adult crew leaders, and other supporters pay for the privilege to sleep on the floors of classrooms in churches and taking showers in shower trailers during the summer after days of hard work including roofing, painting, and other maintenance/repair tasks. All work is supervised by skilled carpenters and builders.
After a day of work we gather together for worship with music and a message from the camp pastor.
Our vision is to see the lives of homeowners, teens and adults changed by sharing our love for Jesus with others.

statement of faith
Concerning the Bible
The Bible is the Word of God, fully inspired and without error in the original manuscripts. It is trustworthy and useful for teaching, rebuking, and equipping believers. It is the final authority in all matters of faith and life. (2 Peter 1:21, 2 Timothy 3:16-18, Matthew 5:17-18, John 5:39, Luke 24:13-35)
Concerning the Trinity
We believe that there is one living and true God eternally existing in three persons equal in divine perfection; God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. He is holy, set apart from all of creation as the one who is self-existent, self-purposed, self-sustaining, and exercising unlimited sovereignty and freedom. God infallibly knows and foreknows all things, will judge all men with both mercy and justice, answers prayer, and rescues all who come to Him through Jesus Christ from sin and death. (Deuteronomy 6:4, John 1, 2 Peter 1:21, Matthew 3:16-17, Matthew 28:19, 2 Corinthians 3:14, Psalm 115:3, Revelation 4:8, Isaiah 46:5-11)
Concerning Jesus Christ
Jesus Christ is God's only begotten Son, eternally existing, conceived by the Holy Spirit and born as man. He is wholly and God and wholly man. He was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, performed miracles, taught the truth of God, and died on a cross as substitutionary atonement for God's people. He truly died, bodily rose to life again, ascended into heaven. He now perpetually intercedes for His people until He will visibly and personally return to earth. (John 1, Luke 1:35, Hebrews 4:15, 1 Corinthians 15:3-5, Acts 1:7-11, Acts 2:22-24, Daniel 7:13-14, Isaiah 53:1-12)
Concerning the Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit is a divine Person, equal with God the Father and God the Son. The Holy Spirit indwells every believer in Christ, empowering them, and abiding in them as a helper, teacher, and guide. (1 Corinthians 2:11-12, 1 Corinthians 3:16, Romans 8:9-10, John 14:26, Acts 1:8, Colossians 1:29, Acts 16:6)
Concerning Salvation
All people, due to sin, are destined for eternal separation from God. Those who repent and trust Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior receive salvation; they are delivered from condemnation and receive eternal life. This is a free gift from God that comes only by grace through faith in Jesus Christ. Salvation is not earned by works, but will result in a changed life and good works. (Romans 3:10, Romans 3:23, Romans 6:23, John 3:16-18, Romans 8:1, Ephesians 2:8-10, Galatians 5:23-24, Romans 10:10-13)
Concerning the Church
The local church is the gathering of those who have put their faith in Christ for worship, good works, prayer, and fellowship. The church, empowered by the Holy Spirit, is the primary means by which Jesus Christ intends to fulfill the Great Commission. The Church may also refer to all believers across all times and physical boundaries. (Matthew 16:18, Matthew 28:28-20, Acts 2:42, Acts 1:8)
Camp Pastor: Ron Tipton

Learn more about Pastor Ron
I grew up in central Ohio, as did Amy, my wife, of 35 years. I was very active in my church as a teenager, knew all the answers, had even been baptized, but didn’t know Jesus. It was until I was 15 that I finally surrendered my will and Jesus saved me. I was working towards being a doctor, neurosurgery specifically, when God made it very clear that ministry was my future.
I attended Carson-Newman College and The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in preparation prior to serving churches in Kentucky, Ohio and now in Florida. I also served at LifeWay Christian Resources coordinating Centrifuge and then as the Director at Jonathan Creek in Kentucky. Amy and I have two sons and three grandchildren. Away from the office I relax by reading, walking, working puzzles and looking for others wanting to play games.
My desire for myself and our church is that we work to be faithful to share the gospel with those who need Jesus, and then help them grow up in Christ once they come to know Him. I want and work to help people learn to study the Bible for themselves.
